Utah native species Project

For a few months I was living in a cabin on the edge of the Uintah National Forest. I would glance up from washing dishes to see deer, bobcat, turkey, pheasants, gophers, prairie dogs, hawks, vultures and eagles. During our drives we'd see elk, moose, raccoon, porcupine, coyote, cranes and cougar. We could watch river otters play while osprey went fishing. It was peaceful, relaxing and always made me long for more time in nature.  Now that I'm back in the city I want to keep these animal spirits close by. I also want to do my part to make sure we do mind the gentle balance between environmental conservation and urban sprawl. Each of the pieces in this series likewise strikes a balance between calculated black ink line overlaid on a chaotic and colorful watercolor splatter technique.

The originals are available. Prints and a ton of other products are also available here on my site store. Proceeds from any sale in this series will go towards the benefit of Utah native species and habitat conservation.  Wildlife need their neighborhoods, too. Peace all!
