BIRDS
Birds are beautiful. They can be found all over the world putting a wide variety of unique adaptations to work. The avian kingdom is host to a million impressive skills, from flight and navigation to architecture and dance. For this art project I have decided to get lost in the exploration of different species, characteristics, colors and calls.
Even in a city, one can find a variety of species living in yards, neighborhoods and local nature trails. Birding photography is a fun challenge, whether the subjects be flying or grounded. The more I get to observe, the more I learn and my appreciation grows. I look to the birds as teachers, messengers and keepers of natural song and wisdom.
